On November 2, the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies team hosted Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Lt Gen Eric Kenny and a delegation of senior RCAF leadership. The dialogue covered perspectives regarding airpower, operational concepts and technologies, and Arctic security considerations and cooperation.
The U.S. Air Force and RCAF enjoy a long history of close cooperation to ensure the continued security and prosperity of North America, jointly defending the U.S. and Canadian homelands, and participating together in global operations. The Mitchell Institute is proud to support this relationship with regular engagement to share ideas and find high-value avenues of collaboration. The Mitchell Institute’s Director of Research, Maj Gen Larry Stutzriem, USAF (Ret.), remarked, “We were honored to have the opportunity to host Lt Gen Kenny and his team. We always look forward to new opportunities to forge stronger and closer bonds between our organizations, our respective air services, and our nations.”
