Looking to the future, as defense leaders increasingly focus on peer threats like China and Russia, it’s important to explore how the MQ-9 will expand its mission applications. Simply put, there is tremendous demand for the sensor-shooter capabilities the aircraft brings to the fight. It’s time to reimagine how the MQ-9 will engage in this new realm.
