Aerospace Nation with General Jeffrey Harrigian

ARLINGTON, VA (December 22, 2020) — The Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies is pleased to announce a new entry in its Mitchell Forum short paper series, “Aerospace Nation with General Jeffrey Harrigian,” an edited transcription of the Mitchell Institute’s Aerospace Nation virtual forum on June 29, 2020 with General Jeffrey Harrigian, Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa. This discussion addresses the priorities of the U.S. Air Force in an AOR containing some of the oldest and closest allies of the United States whose partnerships will remain critical in the decades to come. Gen Harrigian covers everything from the importance of air dominance to our relationship with NATO forces, and he explains the role of critical enablers like JADC2 and 5th generation aircraft.

The Forum presents innovative concepts and thought-provoking insight from aerospace experts here in the United States and across the globe. To afford publishing opportunities for thoughtful perspectives, the Forum provides high visibility to writing efforts spanning issues from technology and operational concepts to defense policy and strategy.
